Datacenter Technician

Type: 12 Month Contract

Location: El Paso, TX

Pay: 20-24, 24-29 OT at time in a half

Schedule: 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 P.M., Work some Saturdays Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Data Center Technician 1 or a Data Center Technician 2 to support structured cabling installation on a large-scale data center construction project in El Paso, TX. This individual will assist with pathway installation, cable pulling, cable termination, and basic network infrastructure work. The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment Day to Day: Assist with installation of cable tray, basket tray, ladder rack, trapeze, and other pathway systems Pull, route, dress, and secure copper cabling Label and identify cabling according to project requirements Perform basic copper cable terminations Read and follow blueprints, prints, and scope documents Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all site safety requirements and project procedures Work collaboratively with teammates and site leadership Support project deadlines through overtime and occasional Saturday work as needed

Required Skills & Experience: 1+ or 3+ years of experience in structured cabling, telecommunications, low-voltage construction, electrical construction, or a related field Basic understanding of Cat 5e/Cat 6 cabling Ability to use hand and power tools safely Reliable transportation and strong attendance record Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on ladders and lifts Nice to
