Required work hours during the contract period will be Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the possibility of some weekday afternoons. Minimum Qualifications: Active Class ACDL along with valid DOT health card.

Additional Requirements: Instructors will be required to maintain a positive student-learning experience, while students are receiving their hands-on driving experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Instructor will be required to follow all federal and state laws while supervising the student driver.

Preferred Qualifications: -At least one year or more in actual over-the-road driving experience. Previous teaching experience or training experience. Working knowledge of log books. Working knowledge of pre-trip inspections. Working knowledge of required DMV 'shifting' patterns.

Essential Duties: The Road Instructor is responsible for taking the students out driving each weekend on the various routes. The Road Instructor is responsible for re-enforcing the classroom materials, through hands-on driving experience. Range - $17.65 - $21.47 Based on the College's salary plan. (This range covers those with educational level below an Associate's Degree.
