Media Associate

Responsibilities: Build and maintain relationships with reporters, producers, and other media professionals. Monitor breaking news and identify timely opportunities for media engagement. Develop messaging, press releases, statements, and other public-facing communications materials. Pitch reporters and support strategic media outreach across multiple projects. Manage communications deliverables across multiple clients and issue areas. Coordinate competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements: Strong writing, verbal communication, and media relations skills. Experience pitching reporters and developing professional relationships with journalists and media outlets. Strong understanding of current events, news cycles, and the media landscape. Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Experience in policy, advocacy, nonprofit, communications, or related fields preferred.
