Inside Service Technician

Inside Service Technician The SITECH Inside Service Technician will report directly to the Service Manager and will be actively responsible for the service and repair various types of optical, laser & electronic construction positioning equipment. The main focus will be in service of Trimble Heavy Civil solutions, including but not limited to Spectra Precision lasers, Nikon Levels and Trimble GPS & optical instruments. The successful candidate will also play a role in the activation of Trimble Hardware, Software & Subscriptions. The essential functions of this position include the following: Troubleshoot, repair and calibrate equipment to factory specifications Become field trained and factory certified on relevant equipment and software Diagnoses hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures. Determines the most cost effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime. Explains repair, new product, and extended warranty options to help customers understand their options. Provides prompt and effective service for customers. Provides technical support to customers on operational and maintenance aspects of system equipment. Install & Activate Trimble Software onto Trimble Hardware Pair Trimble's Software Subscriptions with Trimble's Hardware Maintain optical tooling and testing equipment Maintains a professional company image Follows/adheres to defined organizational processes and procedures.
