Studio Within Salon | Chicago, IL – Lincoln Square Full-Time or Part-Time | Commission-Based Studio Within Salon is growing, and we’re looking for a talented, motivated hairstylist who wants more than just a chair to work behind. Studio Within is an established, education-focused luxury salon with a strong reputation for exceptional client care and a specialty in curly and textured hair. While curly-hair experience is a huge plus, it is not required. We are absolutely open to teaching the right stylist who has a strong foundation, curiosity, and a genuine desire to expand their skill set. We’re looking for someone who loves doing hair, takes pride in their craft, and wants to continue becoming a better stylist, communicator, and professional. Who We’d Love to Meet Our ideal stylist is: Licensed in Illinois and passionate about the beauty industry Warm, personable, professional, and comfortable connecting with clients Confident in their existing skills while remaining coachable and open to learning Interested in developing or expanding their knowledge of curly and textured hair Committed to delivering thoughtful, thorough consultations Detail-oriented and willing to take the time necessary to create beautiful results Reliable, punctual, and respectful of their clients and teammates Comfortable recommending professional products and educating clients about at-home care Interested in building a long-term career and clientele within a supportive salon environment Willing to contribute to the salon’s social-media presence and personal professional growth
What You’ll Be Doing:
