Key responsibilities:
Mentor and coach underwriters to enhance technical expertise and consistency in underwriting decisions
Develop and deliver underwriting training programs in collaboration with underwriting leadership
Participate in underwriting governance initiatives and provide technical input and analysis
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience required; Master's Degree or MBA preferred
10+ years of life underwriting experience with demonstrated signing authority on complex cases
Experience in mentoring underwriters or serving in a technical leadership role
Professional designations such as ACS, ALU, FLMI, FALU, or CLU preferred
Strong understanding of life insurance products and advanced underwriting considerations
