CT Technologist II – Emergency Department

Wesley Andover Emergency Room seeks a CT Technologist II to perform high‑quality CT imaging in a fast‑paced emergency setting. You’ll obtain diagnostic images per physician orders, follow radiation safety protocols, and support accurate, timely diagnoses for diverse patient populations. Responsibilities include patient preparation, equipment operation, image quality assurance, and collaboration with ER physicians and nurses. Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols Ensure patient identification, screening, consent, and safety prior to imaging Position patients and operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images Administer or assist with IV contrast following safety guidelines Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and ER safety procedures Review images for diagnostic quality and transmit via PACS/RIS Communicate and collaborate with ER physicians, nurses, and support staff Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record Assist with equipment care, daily QA checks, and troubleshooting Support a compassionate, patient-centered experience in a fast-paced ER CT imaging operation Radiation safety Patient positioning IV contrast administration Emergency department workflow Image quality assurance PACS/RIS systems Patient assessment Infection control Basic life support (BLS) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ARRT (R) certification ARRT (CT) post-primary certification or eligibility State radiologic technologist license (if applicable) BLS certification
