Job Requirements:
TE Connectivity's Manufacturing Engineering Teams are process leaders in the field of industrial automation and assembly systems. They ensure that manufacturing processes—particularly those related to automated equipment and special-purpose machines—operate at optimal levels of quality, efficiency, and reliability. With deep expertise in assembly techniques and process design, they drive the optimization and standardization of equipment and workflows within the manufacturing environment. These teams play a central role in supporting TE's global operations by implementing TE Operating Advantage (TEOA) principles, rolling out Centers of Excellence (COE), and sharing Best Demonstrated Practices (BDPs) across sites. They advise on the replication, improvement, and correction of tools, automation platforms, and assembly machines. Manufacturing Engineering Teams lead the design and development of new automated systems and process platforms, supporting both the industrialization of new products and the continuous improvement of existing production lines. They work closely with Product Development to define and validate equipment concepts, recommend suitable automation strategies based on volume and quality needs, and ensure compatibility with global manufacturing capabilities. Acting as the key interface between engineering and production, they ensure manufacturability of new designs, smooth production ramp-up, and contribute to the development of prototype tooling, sample parts, and pilot equipment in collaboration with R&D and operations teams.
