Meet is excited to partner with a boutique pharmaceutical advertising agency seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Account Director for a 3-month freelance engagement. This is an opportunity for a senior account leader to step into an established client relationship, assess feedback received across the portfolio, and develop and execute a strategic 30/60/90-day action plan to address client priorities and strengthen the partnership.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Remote, with occasional onsite client work in Madison, NJ. Candidates must be based in the Northeast (NY, NJ, PA, or CT).
Hours: Full-time, approximately 40 hours/week
Contract Length: 3 months
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead day-to-day client relationships and serve as a senior strategic partner to a pharma account
  • Assess and synthesize client feedback across the portfolio, identifying key opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and drive a structured 30/60/90-day action plan to address client feedback and deliver meaningful progress.
  • Provide strategic account leadership, aligning internal teams around client priorities and expectations.
  • Proactively identify challenges, establish clear priorities, and ensure accountability across deliverables and initiatives.
  • Lead client communications and strategic discussions to rebuild confidence and strengthen the overall partnership.
Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical advertising or healthcare communications, ideally at a senior account leadership level. Previous experience as a Senior Account Director or equivalent. Proven ability to manage senior-level client relationships and navigate complex client feedback. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and account leadership skills. Experience leading cross-functional agency teams and managing multiple priorities. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to quickly step into an established account and drive immediate impact.
