Metal Finisher

Job Opportunity Delta Workforce is hiring a Stainless Steel Metal Finisher for a manufacturing company in Redford, MI! This role focuses on preparing and finishing high-quality stainless steel components for custom laboratory and medical equipment, such as pathology grossing stations. You will use specialized techniques to achieve smooth, durable, corrosion-resistant surfaces that meet strict industry standards for hygiene and performance. Experienced applicants only, with preference for candidates from commercial kitchen, food service, or similar stainless steel fabrication environments. Grain and burnish stainless steel surfaces to specified finishes using hand tools, abrasives, and polishing equipment. Operate passivation equipment and perform chemical treatments to remove contaminants and enhance corrosion resistance. Inspect parts for defects, smoothness, and compliance with quality specifications. Maintain a clean, safe workspace while handling heavy or large stainless steel assemblies.
