Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000WHO WE AREWe are a fast-paced, growing advisory firm providing expertise in leadership development, executive coaching, culture transformation and alignment, and strategic planning and execution. We believe that greatness already exists within our clients. Our job is to help them activate it.  We prioritize a relational approach over a transactional one in everything we do. We become thought partners, working alongside our clients throughout their journey to accelerate their success. We believe in the value of deep relationships with our clients, which have resulted in dynamic, multi-year engagements. Our team has great depth, which ensures we bring the right resources to every engagement. Our team members are expert, passionate, innovative change agents who add a wide range of value to our clients.
WHO YOU ARE: You are a detail-oriented, systems-thinking content professional with 2-5 years of experience in program development, instructional design, content operations, or a closely related field. You have probably worked inside a consulting, training, or professional services environment — you understand the dynamics of client work and the difference between a deck that looks good and a deck that actually moves people. You have a strong enough design sensibility to know what "polished" looks like and the production skills to get there. You are skilled and passionate about using AI tools — Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and/or Copilot. You know what to ask AI for, how to evaluate what comes back, and how to build repeatable workflows so the second deliverable is faster than the first. Working with AI, you can take a rough concept from a leader's head and turn it into a structured, on-brand, ready-to-deliver asset. You are organized in a way that benefits everyone around you. You build systems that others actually follow. You are not territorial about your work — you are focused on the quality of the output and the reliability of the process that produces it. You are a self-starter who does not need all the answers before getting started. When you are unsure, you ask smart questions. When you are blocked, you surface it quickly. When you are given latitude, you use it well. You are the content quarterback: the person who catches what advisors and facilitators know and turns it into something that can be used again, improved upon, and delivered with confidence.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Content Creation & Deliverable Production Using AI and InDesign, build and refine cutting-edge client-facing deliverables designed to make an impact while facilitators are in the room and leave a lasting impression once the session ends: post-session summaries, strategic frameworks, action planning guides, leadership toolkits, and executive-ready presentations. Work from advisor notes, session recordings, and debrief conversations to synthesize insights and create deliverables that are meaningful — not just formatted. Develop and maintain a library of reusable templates, tools, and visual frameworks that advisors can deploy across client engagements. Produce high-quality deliverables including decks, hubs, and microsites using AI that reflect Velocity's brand standards and the professionalism our clients expect. Partner with advisors and leaders to take half-formed concepts and turn them into structured, on-brand, presentation-ready materials — using AI tools to accelerate drafting and iteration. Program Materials & Instructional Design Apply basic instructional design principles to ensure materials are structured for learning — not just information delivery. Design participant-facing materials for leadership programs, workshops, and off-sites: e.g., workbooks, job aids, facilitator guides, pre-read packets, and reflection tools using InDesign and AI tools. Use AI to adapt existing Velocity frameworks and content to create repeatable and often interactive solutions for new client contexts, industries, and audience levels Collaborate with advisors to translate complex OD concepts into accessible, engaging participant-facing content. Ensure facilitator guides, workbooks, and other participant materials stay in lockstep with their corresponding presentation decks as both evolve. Maintain speaker notes as a living asset — updated continuously as facilitation feedback and program evolution warrant. Back-End Team Support for Client Work Coordinate pre-session production logistics for client engagements: DISC group reports, 360 summaries, survey decks, pre-work packets, print orders, and participant materials. Coordinate print orders, participant materials, and digital resource preparation for on-site engagements. Work with Senior Advisors to understand what deliverables are needed for each engagement, how AI can be utilized to produce the solution, and build a realistic production timeline. Establish and maintain organized, accessible file systems for all active client deliverables and reusable assets, including one identifiable primary version of each program. Support advisors in scoping deliverables needed for each engagement and building a realistic production timeline. Quality & Brand Stewardship Own Velocity's deliverable quality standards — every document that goes to a client reflects the firm's brand. Proofread and polish AI- and advisor-produced materials before they reach clients. Establish a repeatable debrief process with facilitators and advisors to capture what's working, what isn't, and what resonates with participants, then apply those insights to improve and scale content. Continuously improve templates and production workflows to increase speed without sacrificing quality. Other duties as assigned. MEASURING RESULTSKey Success Metrics Production reliability. Deliverables are consistently completed on or before the deadline, with a production process advisors can plan around. Revision efficiency. Client-ready deliverables require minimal back-and-forth, reflecting an accurate synthesis of the advisor's intent on the first pass. Template and system adoption. New deliverables are increasingly built from existing templates and frameworks rather than from scratch, with strong reliance on AI, and advisors can self-serve from the library with minimal guidance. Advisor and stakeholder impact. Advisors report a measurable reduction in production burden and confidence that their concepts are translated faithfully. Content consistency. Every active program has one identifiable primary version, with facilitator guides, workbooks, and decks staying in lockstep — a single source of truth anyone can find without asking. Continuous improvement. A consistent debrief cadence with facilitators and advisors, with resulting insights visibly reflected in the next iteration of materials. EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION2–5 years of experience in instructional design, L&D, content/deliverable creation, communications, or a closely related role — ideally within a consulting, professional services, training, or advisory environment. Demonstrated ability to produce polished, client-ready deliverables from ambiguous or incomplete input. Demonstrated experience producing client-ready work with AI tools – and can walk us through a real example of taking something from rough input to finished deliverable. Strong proficiency in Power Point (expert-level) and Canva. Experience with Adobe InDesign. Experience developing reusable AI assets – e.g., prompt libraries, custom workflows, project templates, or automations that others have used. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with collaboration tools (Share Point, Teams).Bachelor's degree preferred in Communications, Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Psychology, or related field. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESAI direction and refinement – constructing effective prompts and loops, evaluating and correcting AI output, and building reusable AI workflows across the tools Velocity current uses (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot).Solid writing and editing skills — the ability to produce clean, structured, audience-appropriate content from ambiguous input Foundational understanding of instructional design principles (ADDIE, Backward Design, or equivalent) — you do not need to be a credentialed ID, but you need to understand how people learn. Ability to use AI to process large volumes of unstructured input – e.g., transcripts, session recordings, advisor notes – into accurate, usable insights, and to verify the output against the source material. Foundational understanding of how generative AI works well enough to know what it does reliably, where it fails, and how to structure a task to get consistent output – you do not need to be a technologist, but you need to understand the tool you are directing. Strong visual and design sense for recognition and production of polished client-facing materials. Instructional design fundamentals – enough knowledge to shape materials that teach, not just inform. Program content operations — ability to manage multiple programs, stakeholders, and ongoing updates. Information architecture – design and maintain system (version control, naming conventions, single source of truth).Ability to project a strong writing voice to ensure clarity and consistency across programs and facilitators in speaker notes, workbooks, and post-session summaries. Quality control mindset with close attention to detail. Travel required: minimal — this is primarily a remote production role.
BENEFITS: Fully remote Annual company offsite to collaborate and socialize with team members in personPTO as needed 7 company holidays off, and the week between Christmas and New Year Summer Friday hours between Memorial Day and Labor Day 401(k) with up to 3% total compensation invested by Velocity (once eligible)Short- and long-term disability insurance coverage Life insurance Employer healthcare plan with up to $322 contribution per month with Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options And more
