Travel Registered Nurse Medicine Telemetry

UCHealth seeks a Travel Registered Nurse for our Medicine Telemetry unit, working weekend day shifts. In this role, you will provide advanced, patient-centered care to adult medical patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring, complex medication management, and close clinical observation. You’ll perform thorough assessments, interpret cardiac rhythms, administer IV therapies, and coordinate interdisciplinary care while documenting in an EHR. Provide direct nursing care to adult medicine/telemetry patients during weekend day shifts Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry and vital signs, responding to changes in patient status Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per provider orders and protocols Perform comprehensive assessments, document in EHR, and update interdisciplinary care plans Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate safe, patient-centered care Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans Maintain infection prevention, safety, and quality standards in accordance with UCHealth policies Precept and support colleagues, contributing to a culture of teamwork, learning, and respect Telemetry monitoring Acute medical-surgical nursing IV insertion and management Medication administration (including high-risk meds) Cardiac rhythm interpretation Patient assessment and triage Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Care planning and coordination Patient and family education Infection prevention and control Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active RN license (CO or compact state) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred or obtained after hire Telemetry certification preferred BSN preferred
