Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Practitioner)

Duties: HelpAdminister health care service in an outpatient setting in compliance with state and federal regulations. Obtain and document detailed patient history and physical exam. Demonstrate awareness and sensitivity to patient and family member rights as defined by NMCSD.Perform mental health assessment and provide behavioral interventions. Establish a preliminary or final diagnosis with appropriate treatment. Manage patient treatment using a variety of therapeutic modalities to include medication, counseling, support services, and other ancillary medical supplies. Promote preventative and health maintenance care. Document patient health care files and appropriate forms as designated by the medical treatment facility.
