This is a unique opportunity for an attorney with commercial contracts experience to move in-house, leave billable-hour requirements behind, and take on a broad legal practice. The organization is looking for an attorney experienced in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, including vendor and technology contracts. The role also offers exposure to a wide range of labor, employment, regulatory, and organizational matters. Labor law experience is not required; the General Counsel will provide training and mentorship in this area. The Staff Attorney will work on matters including: Commercial contracts and agreements Vendor and technology contracts Employment and labor matters Regulatory compliance and government filings Policy development and legal research Grievances and arbitration Internal organizational proceedings Outside counsel management
