This critical role involves ensuring compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations, leading the EHS team, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization. The VP will also be responsible for serving as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders on EHS matters, conducting audits, and leading incident investigations to prevent future occurrences. Applicants for the VP of Environmental Health and Safety position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in a senior EHS role, with a preference for those with a background in the construction industry. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a Master's degree being advantageous. The role demands a candidate with CSP, GSP, and MSP credentials, and experience as a safety consultant is highly desirable.
