Process Development Engineer 1

Requirements: Work experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industries is desirable. Experience with chemical processes (preferably organic) preferred. Experience with statistics, Statistical Process Control and DOE techniques is a plus. Experience with high volume production in a high tech, high volume consumables industry is a plus. Experience with product development processes and project management is a plus. Good interdepartmental communication skills and documentation skills are required. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field Moderate understanding of DNA, chemistry, and math Familiarity with lab practices and GDPNotes from manager: If we can find someone with oligo manufacturing or development experience, that would be ideal. Desired related experience in organic synthesis, preparative HPLC/chromatography, analytical HPLC/chromatography and/or liquid handlers.
