Director Of Finance

Child Care Council of Nassau seeks an experienced, hands-on Director of Finance to lead its accounting and financial management functions. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director will ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, responsible stewardship of funds, and reliable financial information for organizational decisions. This role combines direct involvement in accounting operations with leadership of the finance team. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director partners with program leaders and works directly with the CCCN Board Treasurer and the Finance and HR Committee to support financial oversight. The Director translates financial results into clear explanations, identifies emerging risks, and recommends practical actions to strengthen financial performance and support CCCN’s mission.
