Outdoor Guest Services - Transportation Dispatch

Overview: Salary Range $17.50 - $20.00 Hourly Position Type Seasonal

Description: Transportation Dispatch - Outdoor Guest Services General Purpose: The Transportation Dispatch works directly with the Transportation Lead as well as the Outdoor Guest Services Manager to run and operate the Transportation Department and effectively lead employees on a daily basis. The department runs seven days a week throughout the year. The Transportation Dispatch will largely assist guests with transportation needs and answering general questions about the resort. This is a seasonal position from 11/5/2026 to 4/30/2027. Dates are subject to change based on the availability of the applicant and needs of the business. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must be 21 years of age or older. Current state issued Driver's License with an acceptable driving record are required. Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets Purgatory Resort insurance requirements. Ability to pass a DOT physical. Strong skills with Google Sheets and general computer skills. Strong organizational skills. Some holidays and weekends required Overtime as needed

Education and Experience: Education/Formal Training: High School diploma or GED preferred. Three years of office experience. Working Environment/Physical Activities: Must be able to make quick, sound decisions in potentially hazardous driving situations.85% of the workday is spent inside a normal office environment, with 10% being outdoors or in a shuttle. Occasional exposure to non-harmful fumes, odors, dusts, mists, and gasses. Potential hazards include but are not limited to: mechanical, electrical, and road hazards. Lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling objects up to 50 pounds. Constantly operating vehicle controls when driving. Constant use of near and far acuity, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision are essential to job performance.
