Job Description: Seeking a Compassionate Customer Service Technician- Medical Equipmentin Menominee, MIImpact to Healthis seeking a compassionate Customer Service Techniciancommitted to improving patient health, comfort, and confidence throughexceptional support and hands-on care. In this role, you deliver, set up, and maintain essentialmedical equipment while providing clear, empathetic education that helpspatients and caregivers feel safe and supported at home. You also serve as a reassuring voice over the phone and inperson-guiding patients, answering questions, and ensuring their needs are metwith dignity, patience, and respect. Every interaction you have, whether on the road or in theoffice, directly contributes to better health outcomes and a more positive careexperience.
Work Schedule: 8am-5pm On-Call Duties :biweekly Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Deliver, set up, and maintain medical equipment with a patient-first mindset, ensuring each interaction reflects compassion, respect, and attentiveness. Providesupportive, easy-to-understand education to patients and caregivers onequipment use, safety, and maintenance—empowering them to feel confidentand secure in their care. Offerkind, patient-centered customer service over the phone and in person, helping individuals navigate questions, concerns, and equipment needs withreassurance. Completeall delivery forms, documentation, and patient instructions accurately tosupport continuity of care and safe equipment use. Maintaina clean, safe, and organized company vehicle to ensure reliable servicefor patients. Coordinateinsurance verification with care and accuracy, helping patients understandcoverage and reducing stress during the intake process. Manageintake responsibilities—including answering calls, receiving referrals, collecting patient information, and preparing charts—with empathy andprofessionalism. Observeand communicate additional patient needs, advocating for their comfort, safety, and wellbeing. Prepareaccurate files, tickets, and documentation for billing, routing, and dailyoperations to support seamless patient care. Providecourteous, compassionate service to walk-in patients and referral sources, ensuring every person feels valued and supported. Troubleshootequipment concerns with patience and clarity, helping patients feelreassured and safe. Maintainup-to-date knowledge of medical equipment, supplies, and regulations todeliver high-quality, reliable support. Participatein on-call assignments as needed, offering calm, empathetic assistance during after-hours needs. Workcooperatively with team members to coordinate deliveries and ensuretimely, compassionate patient service. Performadditional duties as assigned to support patient health, comfort, andoverall care experience. Travel Travelvia company/personal vehicle required to patient’s homes for set-ups andreoccurring delivery Use ofa personal vehicle may be required for deliveries, all miles driven forcompany purposes will be eligible mileage reimbursement
Requirements
Qualifications: Required Education and/or Experience Highschool diploma or GED equivalent, required Validdriver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record Preferred Education and/or Experience Experiencewith medical equipment, preferred Oneyear of related work experience, preferred Medicalterminology, preferred Employment is contingent upon successfully completing abackground check, drug screening, compliance onboarding, and credentialingrequirements, as well as maintaining a valid driver’s license with a cleandriving record when applicable to the position.
