Job Title
Location: Onsite - San Jose, CA
Required:
  • Knowledge in VDI – Horizon, PowerShell, Storage
  • Microsoft operating systems for servers and other Microsoft products
  • Understanding of the differences between clustering and load balancing
  • Disk configuration: positive and negative aspects of various server disk configurations (none, mirror, RAID 5, etc.)Experience with connectivity options for centralized storage (iSCSI, CIFS and NFS, fiber channel)
  • Blade server technology as well as standalone servers
  • Knowledge of how to protect a server from both internal and external attack
  • Working understanding of the change management process
  • Ability to negotiate final server specifications based on vendor/project criteria
  • Manage multiple tasks at once
Education: Bachelor's Degree required or comparable experience
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of engineering experience focused heavily on designing, planning, implementing, and maintaining secure server environments.
  • Experience With:
  • PowershellVDI – Horizon
  • Cohesity/NetApp storageTCP/IP; Active Directory; Exchange; DHCP/DNS; Microsoft operating systems
