Supervisor Admissions Weekend Nights-Rotating Weekends

Responsibilities: Plan, assign, supervise and perform admissions duties to ensure patient safety and department efficiency. Prioritize admissions based on patient needs and facility capacity. Apply milieu management knowledge and clinical assessment skills. Coordinate with the business office for timely financial counseling and precertifications. Provide guidance to staff and foster trust, respect, and teamwork. Ensure EMTALA log is completed for each patient seen by admissions when applicable. Serve as a preceptor for new admission team employees and participate in staff training. Report shift challenges to AOC, Admissions Manager or Admissions Director; address patient complaints with a focus on safety and service quality. Perform other duties as assigned.
