Role Description:
The Administrative Clerk (Remote) is a full-time role responsible for supporting day-to-day administrative and clerical operations for research and business teams. This position involves handling electronic correspondence, organizing digital files and records, preparing and formatting documents, and maintaining accurate data entry in company systems. The Administrative Clerk will schedule meetings, support calendar management, and coordinate virtual communications with internal and external stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include responding to phone and email inquiries in a professional manner, assisting with basic reporting and tracking tasks, and following established procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality administrative support. The role is fully remote and requires dependable internet connectivity and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different locations.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills for managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and supporting organizational tasks. Candidates should possess Clerical Skills, including accurate data entry, document preparation, and digital file management. Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Phone Etiquette skills to interact professionally via phone, email, and virtual platforms. Candidates should be proficient with common office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and virtual meeting tools) and comfortable learning new systems. Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a remote work environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or prior experience in administrative or research settings is beneficial. Candidates should be able to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and follow established protocols and compliance requirements.
