Accountant, Finance & Accounting

Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records and perform daily accounting transactions. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and reconciliations. Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger. Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures. Monitor expenses, identify discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing or payment discrepancies. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed. Maintain organized accounting documentation and support audit preparation. Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable financial regulations. Work closely with internal departments to address accounting-related inquiries. Qualifications & Requirements~ Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.~2–5 years of experience in an accounting role.~ Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.~ Experience with general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.~ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.~ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.~ Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.~ English and Spanish required
