Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9 bedside RNs, 1 Patient Care Technician

Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9 bedside RNs Patient Ratios: 1:2 or 1:1 Type of Equipment: Philips monitors, Alaris and Medfusion IV pumps Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Meditech The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Required Skills: Minimum 1 year of current PICU RN experience BLS and PALS certificationPreferred Skills: Post-operative cardiac care experience Venous puncture experienceThe following procedures are commonly performed within the unit: Conscious sedation Caring for respiratory failure (including ETT and HFOV) CT placement Central line maintenance and care The ideal candidate will be: Flexible Helpful and humble Consider the following attributes that may attract professionals to this unit: Access to new equipment and technology Experience and tenure of the staff Various scheduling options available This position is located in Denver, CO.
