What you'll be doing:
Prepare and review individual, partnership, corporate, fiduciary, and tax-exempt tax returns. Prepare tax projections, sales tax returns, and other tax-related filings. Perform tax research involving complex tax issues and changes in tax law. Perform general ledger accounting and month-end close processes. Assist partners with tax audits, including responding to tax notices, corresponding with taxing authorities, and organizing client documentation. Manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines. Supervise, mentor, and develop junior tax professionals. Collaborate with partners and colleagues to improve efficiency and deliver exceptional client service.
Desired Qualifications:
5+ years of public accounting tax experience. CPA required (Master of Taxation is a plus).Strong technical tax knowledge and research skills. Experience managing multiple engagements and mentoring staff. Excellent communication, organization, and client service skills.
