Role Description:
The Cash Manager is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing daily cash activities and ensuring accurate, timely cash flow reporting. This position monitors incoming and outgoing payments, reconciles cash accounts, and helps optimize liquidity for the organization’s insurance operations. The Cash Manager will review and analyze cash positions, prepare short-term cash forecasts, and collaborate with internal stakeholders on funding needs and payment schedules. Additional tasks include maintaining documentation for treasury processes, supporting internal controls, and providing clear, concise reports to management on cash-related metrics.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong Treasury Management and Cash Management skills to oversee daily cash operations and optimize liquidity. Candidates should possess solid Finance and Cash Flow expertise to support forecasting, budgeting, and payment planning. Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret cash data, identify trends, and recommend improvements. Relevant experience in insurance, financial services, or a related field is beneficial, along with proficiency in spreadsheet and accounting software. Strong attention to detail, reliability in handling financial information, and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting are essential. An associate or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline is preferred but equivalent experience will be considered.
