Senior Estimator

Now Hiring: Senior Estimator | Commercial Construction | Peabody, MAI'm partnering with a well-established and growing commercial general contractor in the Peabody, MA area that is seeking a Senior Estimator to play a key leadership role within its Preconstruction team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator who enjoys collaborating with Operations, Project Management, and Field teams to deliver accurate estimates and help position projects for success from concept through completion. Key Responsibilities• Lead conceptual, schematic, design development, and final estimates for complex commercial construction projects.• Develop budgets, perform quantity takeoffs, and analyze project costs.• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals.• Identify project risks, constructability challenges, and value engineering opportunities.• Collaborate with Project Managers and Operations to develop project execution strategies.• Lead estimate reviews, bid presentations, and project turnover meetings.• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.• Mentor and develop Estimators and Assistant Estimators. Qualifications• 7+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.• Experience estimating ground-up, core and shell, renovation, and interior fit-out projects.• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, and cost management.• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.• Experience preparing conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, and value engineering analyses.• Proficiency with estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and construction technology platforms.• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
