The One-Sentence TestIf the CEO is still assigning tasks, chasing updates, building project plans, or acting as the project manager, this role is not working. The right person can run this company for 30 days without her.
The Mission:
Turn the CEO’s vision into flawless execution — and get her out of the day-to-day entirely. You own the systems, the people, the projects, the launches, the events, the numbers, and the accountability. You are the operating engine of a two-time Inc. 5000 company, freeing the CEO to do the only things she can do: generate revenue, lead thought, sell, speak, build partnerships, and grow the brand. This is not a coordinator seat. It is equal parts operator, integrator, systems architect, project manager, people leader, and business builder. You build the company that runs without the founder. What Winning Looks LikeYou are succeeding when:the CEO spends less than 10% of her time on operations. Every team member knows what to do — without asking the CEO.Every launch, event, and initiative has a documented plan and a named owner. Systems are documented, followed, and continuously improved — not just created. The team is held accountable to results, not activity. The company runs smoothly even when the CEO is fully unavailable. Revenue targets are hit through operational excellence, not heroics. Costs are continuously optimized without sacrificing quality.the CEO receives dashboards, insights, and recommendations — not problems. Your First 14 DaysThis role proves itself fast. By Day 14, you will have audited the business, extracted what lives in the CEO’s head, and stood up the first version of the operating system. Days 1–3 — CEO Extraction Your first job is to get the company out of the CEO’s head and into documented systems. Through structured interviews, capture: Vision, company goals, and revenue targets Programs, offers, and events Marketing strategy and the full sales process Team structure and existing systems Current workflows and decision-making processes Bottlenecks, recurring issues, and every place the CEO is still the single point of failure Days 4–7 — Business Audit Perform a complete operational audit across the business: Team structure, roles, contractors, and vendors Software subscriptions and all recurring expenses Marketing, sales, customer success, event, and reporting systems Project management and SOP infrastructure Then surface the truth: waste, duplicate software, unnecessary spend, inefficiencies, missing processes, automation opportunities, and team gaps. Deliver a written audit with prioritized recommendations. Days 8–14 — System Buildout Design and begin implementing the operating system across every core function: Team communication, daily accountability, and weekly planning Launch management and event management Marketing execution and sales follow-upHiring, onboarding, and customer successKPI tracking, financial reporting, and executive reporting Project management and SOP management Critically, build the compliance mechanisms that ensure these systems are actually followed — not just written.
