Key responsibilities:
Serve as the principal contractor representative and strategic advisor to the MARAD CFO and Deputy CFO
Translate executive priorities and reporting cycles into clear work plans and deliverables while ensuring effective communication and workload management
Oversee financial reporting and budget analysis for active grant awards, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and quality control procedures
Required qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in federal financial management or a closely related field
At least five years of experience leading a federal financial-management program or advisory engagement
Demonstrated experience working with federal CFOs or executive-level leaders
Comprehensive knowledge of federal accounting and financial reporting standards
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred
