We are seeking a Substance Abuse Clerk for a full-time position at the Correctional Industrial Facility in Pendleton, Indiana.
Pay rate $17.34 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
The Substance Abuse Clerk is responsible for scheduling appointments as well as the routine processing of documents of the substance abuse program within a state correctional facility, including accurately creating, organizing, scanning, faxing, and/or filing documents to facilitate retrieval, review, and processing.
Essential Duties:
Reviewing all documents/transactions for correctness and completeness
Taking any necessary action to appropriately address any problems, errors, or deficiencies
Maintaining calendars and scheduling appointments, meetings, and conferences
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
One (1) year of medical records/medical office experience preferred
Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred
Computer/Data Entry experience preferred
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available Shiftfull-time days, Monday-Friday
