RN - Hemodialysis

Clinical & Patient Care: Treatment Management: Safely initiate, monitor, and discontinue hemodialysis procedures; conduct thorough pre- and post-treatment clinical assessments. Specialized Procedures: Perform vascular access care, administer medications, draw blood samples, and manage blood transfusions within your scope of practice. Infection Control: Execute strict isolation protocols, universal precautions, and safe patient-handling techniques. Care Planning & Education: Develop individualized nursing care plans and provide ongoing clinical education to patients and their families. Emergency Response: Promptly identify, intervene, and report acute medical or dialysis-related complications.

Operations & Technical Management: Equipment Oversight: Safely operate, sanitize, and perform routine maintenance on hemodialysis machines and water treatment systems. Unit Operations: Manage clinical inventory, order supplies, and maintain an organized, audit-ready clinical workspace. Troubleshooting: Identify and immediately report equipment malfunctions or technical anomalies.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Interdisciplinary Care: Coordinate closely with physicians, medical directors, care coordinators, and facility staff. Leadership & Mentorship: Assist with onboarding and training new clinical personnel; actively participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and team meetings.
