Job Title:
Parts Counter PersonWe are looking for an experienced Parts Counter Person for our Cadillac of Manhattan location!
What you will be doing:
- Provide auto parts answers and solutions for our retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter/over the phone
- Use your parts knowledge to assist other team members answer questions for customers
- Providing outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into our Store!
- Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced stores
- Welcome retail customers into our retail stores and engage to provide a positive consumer experience
- Use technology (computer), telephone, and Web-Based Catalog System
- Provide parts pricing and availability to our customers
- Make accurate selections of parts needed for customer demand
- Follow management requests and instructions. PAY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE LEVEL
What you'll need:
- Previous Parts Experience at a dealership is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Previous wholesale experience with GM parts preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great listening skills and empathy for customers
- Ability to adapt and maintain composure under certain circumstances.
- Bring solutions and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Work in a team environment and collaborate with othersASE Certifications a plus
- Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision.
- Knowledge of Dealership Management System, CDK a plus.
- Entirely customer-centric (external/internal)
