Seeking a seasoned New York Senior Counsel, this hybrid role will independently manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials while providing leadership to junior attorneys and cultivating client relationships. Key responsibilitiesDevelop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies Independently handle all aspects of litigation, including court appearances and trial preparation Provide mentorship and direction to less experienced attorneysRequired qualificationsJD from an ABA-approved law school Active bar license in the State of New York 8+ years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense Proficient in managing full case handling responsibilities Experience with time management systems and MS Suite
