Role Description:
The Administrative Assistant is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting the daily operations of Lakeshore Dentistry’s practice. This position manages patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-up communications, while maintaining accurate records in practice management systems. The role includes handling incoming calls and messages with professional phone etiquette, responding to patient inquiries, and routing information to the appropriate team members. The Administrative Assistant will perform general clerical tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and electronic filing, and may provide executive administrative assistance to practice leadership by coordinating calendars, meetings, and reports. This role requires consistent, reliable communication with the dental team to ensure smooth workflows and a positive patient experience.
Qualifications:
Strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, including scheduling, data entry, document management, and record keeping. Executive Administrative Assistance capabilities, such as calendar coordination, meeting support, and preparation of basic reports or presentations. Professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and courteously with patients and team members. Proficiency with office productivity software and practice management or CRM systems; ability to learn new digital tools quickly. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment. Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional remote workspace suitable for patient-facing communication. Prior experience in healthcare, dental, or medical office administration is preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in office administration or healthcare support is a plus.
