General Production Worker

Job Description: This role involves performing a variety of general labor tasks to support daily operations within a frozen food manufacturing facility. The position requires working in refrigerated and freezer environments and assists with material handling, sanitation, packaging support, palletizing, and other labor-intensive duties while ensuring safety, quality, and food safety standards are met.

Responsibilities: Perform general labor duties throughout the facility as assigned. Move raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products between work areas. Stack, sort, organize, and palletize products and materials. Assist with loading and unloading trucks, materials, and deliveries. Maintain clean and organized production, warehouse, and storage areas. Remove trash, scrap materials, and other waste from work areas. Assist with sanitation and cleaning of equipment, workstations, and facility areas. Support production teams by supplying materials and removing completed pallets. Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as trained. Follow all company safety policies, GMPs, OSHA regulations, and food safety procedures. Work safely in refrigerated and freezer environments as required. Report damaged products, safety concerns, and equipment issues to supervisors. Assist with inventory movement, storage, and general facility support duties. Support team members and other departments as needed to meet operational goals. Other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Previous general labor, warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred but not required. Ability to work in cold, refrigerated, and freezer environments. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience working in refrigerated, freezer, or temperature-controlled environments is a plus. Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and productivity. Work Environment: The role is set in a frozen food manufacturing and warehouse environment with frequent exposure to cold, refrigerated, and freezer temperatures. It is a physical role requiring continuous movement throughout the shift, including regular lifting, carrying, stacking, and material handling duties. Employees are required to use company-provided PPE and freezer gear as needed to ensure safety in this fast-paced environment supporting food production and distribution operations. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
