We are looking for someone who is hard-working, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
Job Description:
Support the Engineering and Production departments by creating layouts, detail drawings, and assembly drawings using 2-D AutoCAD and 3-D Solid Works software. Generate Bills of Materials for assembly drawings, maintain/update the engineering database, and revise existing drawings/BOMs as directed. Should have a good understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology, along with mechanical aptitude and the ability to complete basic mathematical calculations. Be able to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to complete project goals.
Job Duties:
-Use AutoCAD and Solid Works to create and modify 2-D and 3-D layouts and drawings-Create Bills of Material for assembly drawings-Update and maintain engineering database-Work with Engineering and Production departments to meet project goals-Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
-Fluency with AutoCAD and Solid Works software, especially 2-D AutoCAD-Prior experience (2+ years) with mechanical CAD drafting is preferred but not required-Good written and verbal communication skills-Basic computer skills with Microsoft Windows & Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.)-Must pass a background check-Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Salary: $25-$30/hour DOE, plus benefits
