Our client is seeking an Export Declaration / Documentation Specialist to support international shipping operations. This role is responsible for preparing and filing export declarations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating export documentation with shipping partners.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and file export declarations through AES.Verify shipment details, including HS codes and export documentation. Create and transmit Bill of Lading instructions to shipping lines via EDI.Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and customer requirements. Coordinate with shipping lines and internal teams to support timely shipments.
Qualifications:
Experience in export documentation, customs compliance, or international logistics. Strong knowledge of AES filing requirements and Incoterms. Proficiency with export filing systems and EDI platforms. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
