Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology

Job Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, drain placements, angiograms, and catheter insertions. Monitor and assess patient condition before, during, and after procedures. Administer moderate sedation and medications as ordered, and respond to adverse reactions or emergencies. Prepare procedural rooms, assist with sterile technique, and manage imaging equipment support needs. Document assessments, interventions, medications, and procedural events accurately and in a timely manner. Educate patients and families on procedure expectations, recovery instructions, and follow-up care. Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and radiology protocols.

Qualifications: Active RN license in good standing. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).Minimum 1–2 years of experience in critical care, procedural nursing, or radiology nursing. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. Experience with moderate sedation, sterile technique, and post-anesthesia care preferred. Strong communication, critical thinking, and emergency response skills.
