The Sustaining Construction Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency, complying with process and safety standards, and executing improvements without impacting production.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute multiple construction projects within the factory, ensuring timely completion and budget accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Plan and execute major repairs of existing factory structures, equipment, and infrastructure
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Develop and manage project budgets, providing accurate cost estimates and monitoring expenses throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to source materials and services
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and sustainability
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience 4 years of experience in construction project management within manufacturing, clean room, or industrial environments
- Multi disciplined (CSA/MEP) knowledge with a strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing priorities
