Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities: Set up and maintain validation platforms and associated equipment Monitor lab infrastructure (power, compressed dry air, network), work with Workplace and IT teams on any issues Reconfigure validation platforms and SLT test head as needed, per project plan Hardware rework, SMT soldering and debug assistance and probing per lab user needs Set up, maintain, and complete SLT testing per project requirements Coordinate with external vendors to maintain and repair lab equipment and facilities Arrange and maintain equipment calibration plans, schedules and service contracts Evaluate new equipment offerings, arrange demos, and work with lab users to obtain feedback Coordinate shipments of chips and equipment among Arm sites per project plans and debug needs Maintain lab inventory of both products/assets and consumables, identify/order minor lab equipment/tools

Essential Skills and Experience: Familiar with SLT test engineering lab environment Good understanding of procedures for handling ESD-sensitive equipment Basic understanding of information security and network security Experience with solder rework of boards/electronicsdemonstrated ability in lab technician and/or lab management role

Desirable Skills and Experience: Scripting experience (python, perl, or similar)Basic data analysis using Excel or similar Experience with SLT part handlers Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Sciences
