Job Description: InterventionalRadiology APP (NP/PA) Lahey Clinic, Anna Jaques Hospital, Exeter Hospital
The Role: Join the InterventionalRadiology team at Lahey Hospital & Medical Centerwithdeployment Ana Jaques Hospital in Newburyport and Exeter Hospital in Exeter, New Hampshire. You will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care forcomplexconditionsrequiring endovascular or image-guided interventions. This role covers the entire continuum of care : consultation, inpatient, outpatient, procedural, and post-procedural settings.
Key Responsibilities: Clinical Care & Coordination Assessments: Conduct initial evaluations and consultations forvarious interventional radiology procedures Management: Perform history-taking, physical exams, andmonitorpost-procedure recovery. Coordinate post procedure follow-up care Multidisciplinary Work Partner with interventional radiologists, surgeons, internists, hospitalistsand critical care teams. Procedural Support Preparation Lead patient education, informed consent, and coordination of labs/imaging. Technical Support Assistin procedural planning and intra-procedural support (sedationassistance, sterile field prep).Specific Procedures Perform vascular access procedures such as port placement and line placement. Perform joint injections. Perform image-guided biopsies such thyroid biopsies and non-focal liver biopsies. Perform paracentesis, thoracocentesis, and tube checks. Quality & Administration Maintainaccuratedocumentation in the EMR. Participate in departmental QA/QI initiatives and morbidity & mortality reviews. Contribute to clinical pathways and protocol development. Candidate Qualifications Education & Certification Graduate ofan accredited NP or PA program. Current State Licensure (Massachusetts NP or PA-C). National Board Certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
Certifications: BLS and ACLSrequired. DEA Registration (Required or ability to obtain).Experience & Skills
Required Experience: Prior experience in Interventional RadiologyorCritical Care. Expertise: Ability to interpretbasicimagingstudies and vascular anatomy. Environment: Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. Pay Range $133,120.00 USD - $215,000.00 USDThe pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
