REAL ESTATE ACCOUNTANT Description: Join a dynamic commercial real estate development and investment firm located in Ridgewood, New Jersey with exposure to mixed used, retail, industrial, and multifamily real estate life cycle. A family-based office that includes Architecture, Construction and Ownership of an award-winning portfolio. Role Seeking a full-time entry-level Real Estate Accountant to support the Director of Leasing and Asset Management. This role has the potential to lead to CFO and CPA licensure. Qualifications & Opportunity The successful candidate will possess the following:· Candidates must be extremely organized and capable of multi-tasking· Knowledge of Quick Books a plus.· Superior attention to detail and deadline oriented· The ability to independently manage multiple projects in an accurate and timely manner· Must be a team player with a desire to work in the office and on the field· Strong written and oral communication skills· Promote best practices, procedures, and processes for organizational efficiency· Strong interest in the Real Estate industry· An undergraduate degree in accounting is required, please provide GPA on your application· Driver’s license a must Responsibilities· Provide support to the Asset Manager · Account for leases, renewals, and lease abstracts· Create and maintain active listings for real estate vacancies through online platforms· Provide project support to other officers of the team as needed· The company operates in-person, Monday – Friday Benefits· Competitive base salary ranging from $46,000 to $68,000 depending on experience· Yearly Performance Bonus and 401-K· Overtime pay· Health Insurance stipend· Paid sick time· Project related travel reimbursement· On-the-job-training· Continuing Education Support· Great potential for career growth· A lean, efficient, work hard, but fun culture.· No red tape, extremely flat organization.
