DESCRIPTION: Love the energy of a great night out and making sure everyone at your tables has a good time? Radisson Hotel Corning is looking for a friendly, upbeat Cocktail Server to join our lounge team. You'll recommend drinks, keep the orders flowing, and turn first-time visitors into regulars. If you know your way around a cocktail menu and like a fast pace, we'd love to meet you.
Schedule: Full-time; evenings, weekends, and holidays Pay: $11.45/hour plus tips A day in this role might include:
  • Welcoming guests to the lounge and outdoor patio, taking orders, and making drink and food recommendations
  • Serving food and beverages, preparing accurate checks, and processing payments
  • Keeping several tables happy at once in a fast-paced setting
  • Checking IDs to make sure every guest is of legal drinking age
  • Building your knowledge of our wines, beers, and cocktails
  • Opening and closing the lounge, and keeping tables and the patio clean and inviting
  • Pitching in wherever needed, such as seating guests, answering phones REQUIREMENTSRequired Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years old to serve alcohol
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Knowledge of mixology, beers, wines, and spirits
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Detail-oriented and calm under pressure in a busy environment
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to stand and walk for most of your shift and carry heavy trays of food and drinks
  • A friendly, professional presence and a team-player attitude Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous server experience
