Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Painter / Shop Hand to join our production team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will lead the surface preparation and spray painting of structural steel fabrications and machinery components, while also providing general support across our manufacturing workshop.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare carbon steel fabrications and component parts for painting (de-greasing, grinding, sanding, and masking). Mix primers, epoxy/polyurethane coatings, and industrial paints to correct ratios and apply spray coats to high-quality standards. Operate and maintain airless or conventional spray-painting equipment and spray booth systems. Move, load, and stage raw steel materials and finished machinery components using overhead cranes and forklifts. Operate hand and power tools to support assembly and general shop operations as needed.

Industrial Painting Experience: 2+ years of experience in industrial wet spray painting, liquid coating application, or heavy equipment painting.

Surface Prep Skills: Knowledge of paint mixing ratios, viscosity testing, surface preparation standards, and masking techniques. Tool & Equipment Literacy: Hands-on experience operating airless/air-assisted spray guns, grinders, and general shop power tools. Forklift & Rigging: Forklift operator experience and crane/rigging experience preferred (OSHA Forklift Certification is a major plus).Physical Fitness: . Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate power tools, and work in a physically demanding metal shop environment Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
