Machining, fabrication, and assembly shop that services many industries including power, paper, steel, and OEM. We are seeking a machinist for our facility with the ability to run CNC as well as manual machines. The position provides an opportunity to work with a variety of components and materials and provides a key role in the companys ability to successfully meet customer cost, quality, and delivery expectations. MUST HAVE MANUAL LATHE EXPERIENCERequires 5+ years of experience
Responsibilities:
  • Run jobs on the machine tools as requiredCoordinate jobs with other departments
  • Complete daily time tickets
  • Be able to move from one work station to another as requiredCoordinate tooling with supervisors
  • Perform all other duties assigned or requested by the shop supervisors
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment
  • Perform machining with high quality
  • Represent Client at all times
  • Help instill safety and positive practices and attitudes
  • Occasional work in other departments of company
  • Enforce company policy and safety manual
  • Be willing to be flexible in work schedule and possible overtime
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge in mechanical design
  • Excellent individual communication skills
  • Ability to continue learning on new machines
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • Attention to detail.
