Work Environment: Our facility spans 5,000 square feet, housing advanced rehabilitation equipment and therapeutic modalities in an onsite setting. As part of a cooperative and cohesive team comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will collaborate closely with colleagues to maintain a high level of patient care. We emphasize a multidisciplinary approach to health, ensuring that our services align with other healthcare providers as needed.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and needs, developing tailored care plans that address individual rehabilitation requirements. Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, providing hands-on and evidence-based treatments to enhance mobility and function. Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, to improve patients' range of motion and functional capabilities. Implement individualized wellness and fitness regimens that encourage patient engagement and empowerment to achieve their recovery goals. Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including orthopedic specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient management and care coordination. Continuously monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records of therapy services provided. Inspire and motivate patients to commit to their rehabilitation, contributing positively to their journey toward optimal health. Patient Population / Client FocusOur clients include a variety of individuals seeking rehabilitation from sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal issues. Qualifications: Completion of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution. Current, valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Florida, with no disciplinary actions on record. Strong foundational knowledge in orthopedic outpatient care, with demonstrated skills in manual therapy techniques. Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient care.

Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a sports medicine or rehabilitation setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and patient-centered care methodologies. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while promoting a positive environment.

Compensation and Benefits: The Physical Therapist position at Motion Menders Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
