Contact Power Electronics Engineer

🔧 What you'll be doing: Take full ownership of a power board from requirements and architecture through to a qualified, flight-ready unit Design and simulate circuits across DC-DC conversion, solid-state switching, fault protection and current limiting Produce schematics and lay out multi-layer PCBs, working closely with mechanical on enclosure and packaging Bring up your own hardware on the bench and prove it out against spec Plan and run the qual campaign — vibe, shock, thermal cycling and vacuum testing Lead FMEA work and build the reliability case for your designs at system level✅ What you'll needA degree in electrical engineering Solid hands-on background designing and delivering power electronics hardware Comfortable owning schematic and layout yourself, not just reviewing someone else'sCircuit design depth in conversion, switching, protection and conditioning Bench skills — simulation tools, scopes, DAQ and test instrumentation Familiar with common embedded comms buses and serial interfaces Can script or code when the job needs it (Matlab, Python, C)Happy making calls with partial information and defending the reasoning Clear communicator, in writing and in the roomUS-based and eligible to work on ITAR-controlled programs⭐
