Job Description
Registered Nurse - Home Health: ScheduleDay shifts, Monday through Friday, with varying hours including 8 AM to 5 PM and 9 AM to 6 PM. Alternating weekend shifts may be required.
Assignment Details: Skilled home visits ranging from 6 to 8 visits per day. Hours are self-scheduled based on the needs of the home care office.
Requirements: 1 year of skilled home care experience required. OASIS training and experience. IV skills and wound care expertise. General medical diagnoses and experience with high-risk diagnoses such as heart failure, COPD, myocardial infarction, pneumonia, stroke, and post-operative care. BCLS certification required. Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for home visits. Must be COVID vaccinated or have an exemption form on file. Must have a flu shot or declination, with mandatory mask wearing at all times while at work.
Responsibilities: Conduct cardiopulmonary assessments and provide basic wound care. Utilize ABI compression dressing, wound vac dressing, and foley catheter care. Perform staple and suture removal, glucometer use, and pro-time machine usage. Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections and perform lab draws via venipuncture. Manage IV skills and PICC line or midline care, including dressing changes. Access and deaccess subcutaneous ports as required.
