CT Technologist

Amergis is seeking a skilled CAT Scan Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in hospital and care settings. You will operate CT equipment, follow physician imaging protocols, position and prepare patients, and ensure accurate, timely image acquisition. Responsibilities include maintaining radiation safety, documenting procedures in the EMR, and collaborating with nurses, radiologists, and other clinicians. Perform CAT/CT scans according to physician orders and imaging protocols Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure safety and comfort during exams Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment, ensuring image quality and minimal retakes Practice radiation safety and infection control in compliance with regulations Administer or assist with IV contrast according to policy and patient status Document procedures and patient information accurately in PACS/EMR systems Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinicians for coordinated care Monitor patients during and after scans, responding to urgent situations as needed Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment readiness Follow Amergis and facility policies to ensure regulatory and quality standards CT scan operation Radiology procedures Patient positioning Radiation safety IV contrast administration Anatomy and physiology knowledge PACS/EMR documentation Infection control Emergency response in imaging Equipment quality control Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ARRT (R) certification ARRT (CT) preferred or obtained within specified timeframe Active state radiologic technologist license (as applicable) BLS certification
