Parts Specialist

Job TitleScope of WorkThe employee deals with and maintains the inventory and purchasing of tools, supplies and equipment for the operations of the garage. Essential Job DutiesHelps count and keep inventory of mechanical and vehicle parts. Maintains and assures the proper maintenance of parts. Performs computer work, such as purchase orders and parts request. Puts up stock and does light filing in an office setting. Drives vehicle to various locations to pick up parts. Provides custodial services to the department. Performs related duties as required. Physical and Environmental Conditions Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and other employees in work group.
